Cherry servers – Information technology services

The chiller is designed to cool the server rooms and maintain a suitable microclimate for server operations. Cooling in the room takes place with fan coils. Following an assessment of the local climate, customer needs and capabilities, a refrigeration machine with a freecooling mode was selected to maximize efficiency during the cold season. This choice is especially important in industrial areas, as the demand for cold water remains maximum, regardless of the outdoor air temperature. The system saves up to 19,420 Euros per year when operating in freecooling mode.
